A pediatrician takes special training in infant and child care following his education. You must check his experience, as from how many years he has been doing practice. If he is in private practice if possible check whether he was always in private practice or he worked under any hospital. Working in a group and in the hospital makes doctors ready for new challenges and their knowledge in particular fields increases.
3.Is your doctor up-to-date.
There are many types of research going on, on an everyday basis in the medical field. It is very important that the pediatrician you choose is well versed with the new practices and his clinic is well equipped with all the new equipment. Staying with current research and implementing those in his day-to-day practice ensure the best care of your family.
4.Interaction with your baby.
During your first visit to your doctor, you must notice how your doctor interacts with your kid. Your child is going to spend lots of time with a pediatrician, so it is very essential that he or she will be comfortable with your decision. Interaction of doctor with your kids matters so if you find it’s, not the right fit you can always change your decision. But if your child is comfortable and likes his doctor try not to change him frequently, otherwise it will be difficult for him to adjust.
